Our training program focuses on building strong fundamentals from the beginning, including proper technique, footwork, coordination, agility, movement, and overall badminton development.
Intermediate and advanced players will continue developing their technical skills, match strategy, consistency, physical abilities, and on-court decision-making.
At Royal Badminton Academy, our goal is not simply to teach players how to hit a shuttle. We believe in long-term player development, combining professional badminton coaching with sports science and physical development in a safe, structured, and supportive environment.
OUR COACHING TEAM
Our programs are led by an experienced, high-level coaching team:
Afshin Royal – Founder of Royal Badminton Academy, Ph.D. in Sports Science, international-level coach, and former USA Junior National Team coach
Coach Rusli – Former U.S. Olympic Team Coach, with extensive experience coaching elite and international-level players
Coach Shannon – Highly experienced badminton coach, well-known and respected within the Chinese badminton community
For larger training groups, multiple coaches will be available on court to maintain the quality of instruction and provide individual attention, ensuring that every player receives meaningful coaching and the best possible value from each training session.
Whether your child is picking up a racket for the first time, developing toward a competitive level, or you are an adult looking to learn and improve your game, we would love to welcome you to the Royal Badminton Academy community.
